The Ampersand team are now at Baringa!
After six successful years helping data centres and the wider tech sector tackle energy, decarbonisation, and sustainability challenges, we felt it was time to take our mission to the next level. In 2025 the Ampersand team joined Baringa to continue this mission. Baringa is the perfect match for the development of Ampersand’s business with their global reach and deep energy capabilities.
Ampersand's story is one of purpose, transformation, and impact.
It began in 2018 with a group of independent consultants with a shared goal of doing consulting differently and a commitment to embrace sustainability as our core purpose.

We longed for a better way of working, one which allowed us to have more impact, flexibility and fun. Shifting from traditional consulting to focus on practical solutions that empower clients to create real change was a no-brainer. Providing a hierarchy-free collaborative environment, that was also enriching for our team, was a bonus.
Our journey has spanned various sectors, from energy-intensive assets to investors and market transformation initiatives. Still, one constant remains: our urge to accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy and to help our clients drive value.
